Corland Construction, LLC was a proud partner with Sidney Health Center on the expansion of its Cancer Center, designed to accommodate cutting-edge TomoTherapy Oncology technology and provide enhanced planning and recovery spaces for patients.

A major component of this project was the construction of a 1,600 square foot concrete vault, engineered specifically to house the new radiation therapy equipment. The vault featured a radiation-shielded door and was supported by structural helical piers to ensure long-term stability and safety.

The vault's footings, walls, and ceiling required over 600 cubic yards of concrete, reflecting the precision and complexity involved in creating a secure environment for advanced cancer treatment.

This addition plays a vital role in expanding Sidney Health Center's oncology services and improving the quality of care available to the local community.
