CONSTRUCTION CARPENTER

JOB SUMMARY:

A Construction Carpenter is responsible for performing a variety of general carpentry tasks with precision and efficiency. Duties include, but are not limited to, framing, door and window installation, rail and blocking installation, and floor and wall layout. This role requires hands-on experience in both residential and commercial carpentry, with work performed on job sites across Montana and North Dakota. The Carpenter will be responsible for maintaining personal job site safety and must be familiar with construction equipment and basic equipment operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Proficient in using industry tools and applying carpentry techniques accurately and safely

  • Reliable and punctual, arriving on time and ready to work each day

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to jobsite challenges

  • Able to read and interpret plans and blueprints to understand project scope and requirements

  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure accuracy and coordination of tasks

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and properly store tools and equipment upon project completion

  • Comply with all company/client policies and procedures as well as state and federal jobsite regulations

  • Complete daily job reports, if required

  • Follow all jobsite safety protocols and procedures

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Job duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required daily, as dictated by jobsite conditions

  • Work will be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to extreme weather conditions

  • Duties require the ability to walk, stand, sit, shovel, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, and work on elevated platforms, potentially for extended periods

  • Must be capable of occasionally lifting and moving materials during the course of the workday

  • Random and post-accident drug testing is part of our company policy
