
CIVIL FOREMAN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Implement and enforce safety plans and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) on all active job sites

Plan and schedule work activities, including:
-
Coordinating with the Project Superintendent to determine labor, material, and equipment needs
-
Prioritizing and scheduling all phases of construction work
-
Utilizing available equipment and crew to maintain project timelines and stay within budget
-
Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and staking
-
Accurately read survey staking and shoot grades to ensure proper elevations and alignments
-
Maintain a complete and current set of as-built drawings throughout the project
-
Operate various types of equipment, including excavators, loaders, skid steers, and compaction equipment
-
Install a variety of pipe materials safely and efficiently, while working in and around trench environments
-
Work with a range of subgrade materials—such as clay, aggregates, and topsoil—performing tasks including:
-
Excavating
-
Backfilling
-
Compacting
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the construction trade
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Must possess a valid driver’s license
-
Strong ability to organize and manage work schedules
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
-
Excellent communication and leadership skills
-
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
-
Capable of performing routine maintenance and equipment servicing
-
Must be hands-on and take full responsibility to ensure project tasks are completed as assigned

Proven ability to motivate and lead team members to successfully complete projects
